We're a little confused around here today. You see, this is the weekend I normally take apple picking photos. All in the name of autum/fall themes. Except this weekend it was too hot to pick apples. How hot was it? It was over 100 F. Hot enough to warrant a cancellation of the apple picking and a trip to the air conditioned movies instead. Hot enough to consider going to the beach for the day. Hot to enough to wish Donna hadn't closed her pool. Hot enough to melt while taking a few autumn photos. Not hot enough to roast a turkey though....Thanksgiving just wouldn't be the same without it.

Makes ya wish you were in Texas, huh? I woke up to a blissful 54 degrees here today. I was up creating at 4:30 am and I opened the windows and then had to close them because it was TOO COOL. :-) No worries, we have a projected high in the upper 80s today!
